HONG KONG: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has advocated for enhanced business-to-business linkages between Pakistan and Hong Kong, emphasizing the need for increased trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Commerce Minister made these remarks during his visit to the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, where he engaged with the Chairman and key business representatives. During the discussions, Khan highlighted the opportunities for Pakistan to leverage Hong Kong’s expertise in sectors such as finance, aviation, and digital technology.

He further underscored the potential benefits of the Belt and Road Initiative in improving connectivity and developing transit routes. Khan called for regular engagement between business communities and the exchange of trade delegations to explore new commercial opportunities.

In addition to these engagements, the Minister interacted with Pakistani community members and business leaders in Hong Kong. He acknowledged their contributions to Hong Kong’s economy and encouraged them to actively promote Pakistan’s economic potential and attract investment.
