Chinese Ambassador Meets with Pakistan’s Prime Minister in Islamabad


Islamabad: The Ambassador of China, Jiang Zaidong, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, underscoring the deep ties between the two nations. The meeting highlighted the cooperative strategic partnership and discussed regional stability efforts.



According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Sharif was joined by senior officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The Prime Minister extended greetings to China’s President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. The discussions covered regional issues, with a focus on Middle East peace initiatives. The Chinese Ambassador expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and reiterated China’s dedication to enhancing its relationship with Pakistan.
