ISLAMABAD: High Commissioner of Canada to Pakistan, Mr. Tarik Ali Khan, met with Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, at Parliament House on Friday to discuss the enhancement of bilateral cooperation between Canada and Pakistan. The dialogue centered on strengthening partnerships in key areas such as trade, investment, education, and capacity building.
According to the National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the importance Pakistan places on its longstanding relations with Canada, highlighting the potential for expanded trade and economic partnerships. He also stressed the need to promote parliamentary cooperation and enhance people-to-people contacts to foster deeper understanding and friendship between the two nations.
Mr. Tarik Ali Khan acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in promoting democratic values and institutional development.
