BSF Personnel Kill Muslim Youth in Assam, Claiming Attempted Cattle Smuggling


Guwahati, In a tragic incident in Assam, a 26-year-old Muslim youth, Shahinur Islam, was killed by personnel from the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in the South Salmara-Mankachar district, escalating tensions in the BJP-governed state. According to Kashmir Media Service, BSF officials stated that Shahinur Islam, hailing from Char Kukurmara village which lies adjacent to the international border, was allegedly involved in an attempt to smuggle cattle to Bangladesh before dawn when he was shot.
