Balochistan to Enhance Agricultural Support and Expand Food Processing Facilities

Quetta, Provincial Minister of Agriculture Mir Ali Madad Jatak announced significant plans to boost support for local landowners and expand food processing capabilities in Balochistan during the inauguration of a new Women’s Division Food Processing Unit.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Jatak highlighted the strategic importance of the new unit and confirmed plans to establish additional food processing facilities across the province. He outlined a comprehensive support system for farmers that includes subsidies for seeds, fertilizers, and tractors to enhance agricultural productivity and profitability.

The minister also committed to developing modern laboratories to test the safety of fruits and vegetables, with plans to expand these facilities to other districts. The event underscored the government’s dedication to advancing agriculture through modernization and enhanced quality control measures.
