Balochistan Health Secretary Announces Scholarships and Reforms to Improve Health Sector

Quetta, Secretary Health Balochistan Abdullah Khan announced that the provincial government is taking significant steps to improve the health situation in Balochistan, aiming to develop the health sector along modern lines. This commitment includes initiatives to bring Balochistan’s health sector on par with other provinces, particularly Sindh.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Secretary Health Abdullah Khan spoke at a ceremony where scholarships were awarded to 150 students from Balochistan for a two-year associate degree program in allied health and nursing. The scholarship program is part of the government’s broader efforts to address health-related issues in remote areas of the province.

During his speech, Secretary Abdullah Khan highlighted that the government is committed to following through on the promises made by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, indicating that revolutionary measures and reforms are being implemented in the health sector. The objective is to overcome all health-related challenges in the province and ensure that residents have access to quality healthcare.

The announcement of scholarships for students in allied health and nursing is expected to contribute to the development of a skilled healthcare workforce in Balochistan. These scholarships will support students in acquiring the necessary training to meet the province’s healthcare needs.
