Baloch Protesters Released Following Committee Negotiations

Karachi, In a significant development, all Baloch protesters have been released following the recommendations of a three-member committee. This committee, appointed on the advice of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, successfully negotiated the release of the protesters, with the last thirty-four being freed today after the completion of legal formalities.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the committee, comprising federal ministers Fawad Hassan Fawad, Murtaza Solangi, and Jamal Shah, along with the Governor of Balochistan, engaged in discussions with the protesters. One of the primary demands of the protesters was the release of all individuals who had been arrested.

In response to these discussions, the committee, on the first day of talks, had issued an order for the immediate release of women and children who were among the arrested. This move was a part of the broader efforts to address the grievances of the Baloch protesters and to facilitate a resolution to the situation.
