Bahrain Commends Professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces, Strengthens Bilateral Ties


RAWALPINDI: In a significant meeting held today, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, expressed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Bahrain, with a focus on defence and security.



According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Munir met with Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani in Rawalpindi, where they discussed various topics including matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation, and bilateral defence and security cooperation. The Bahraini Foreign Minister acknowledged the professionalism and operational readiness of the Pakistan Armed Forces during their discussions.



Field Marshal Munir emphasized the enduring fraternal relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, which are grounded in shared values and mutual respect. The meeting underscored the two nations’ dedication to furthering their partnership, particularly in the realms of defence and security.
