Kachhi: On a directive from Deputy Commissioner Kachhi, Captain Retired Jameel Ahmad Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Sunny Iftikhar Zaheer conducted a thorough inspection of various levies checkpoints in Tehsil Sunny today. The checkpoints visited included Shaheed Mahfouz Levies Checkpoint, Levies Post Messer Shawani, Levies Chowki Kombal, and Levies Station Khatan. The Assistant Commissioner checked the attendance of Levies officials and emphasized the importance of heightened security measures currently being implemented.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Assistant Commissioner directed the staff and officers at the checkpoints to perform their duties with diligence and alertness to handle any situation. He highlighted the need for concrete steps to ensure the safety of life and property, underscoring the importance of the Levies’ role in safeguarding the community.
During his tour, Assistant Commissioner Zaheer also visited BHU Sunny, RHC Khatan, and Government High School Sunny. He reviewed the cleanliness and availability of medicines at BHU Sunny. Stressing the significance of these facilities, particularly in remote areas, he instructed the medical staff to ensure their presence and maintain high standards of cleanliness at the medical centers.
The visit underscores the local government’s commitment to bolstering security and healthcare services in the region, particularly amidst the current security concerns. The directives issued aim to enhance the preparedness and responsiveness of the Levies force and healthcare providers in Kachhi.
