Islamabad, August 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif has emphasized on further increasing bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt in defence industry through joint ventures and sharing of technological expertise. He was talking to Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan Tarek Mohamed Dahroug who called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Defense Minister assured the ambassador of all possible assistance in the promotion of bilateral relations especially in the field of Defense. Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s support and assistance and highlighted the importance of cordial relations between the two countries especially for issues pertaining to Muslim Ummah. They agreed to further strengthen the institutional framework for high level bilateral political engagement and to closely coordinate at forums like the United Nations, OIC and D-8.
