APS Tragedy Bolstered Pakistan’s Resolve Against Terrorism, States Caretaker PM

Islamabad, On the ninth anniversary of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar tragedy, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar stated that the incident has significantly strengthened the nation’s resolve to fight terrorism. He reflected on the somber anniversary, emphasizing the sacrifices made and the resilience shown in the face of such adversity.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister, in his message, remembered the failed attempt of the enemy to demoralize the nation in its war against terrorism nine years ago. He extended his sympathies to the parents of the children who were lost in this tragedy, underscoring the nation’s shared grief and remembrance of the young lives sacrificed.

Prime Minister Kakar firmly stated that the cowardice of terrorists could never defeat the Pakistani nation. He proudly declared that the country has triumphed in the war on terror, thwarting all attempts by the enemy to create disruption and chaos. The nation, he asserted, stands united with its security forces in the ongoing battle against miscreants.

The Prime Minister paid homage to the security forces, including the police, rangers, and Pakistan Army, for their relentless pursuit of terrorists following the APS tragedy. He acknowledged their role in hunting down the perpetrators from their hideouts and bringing them to justice, which has been integral to the nation’s fight against terrorism.
