APHC welcomes Pak warning to India against illegal moves in IIOJK

Srinagar, June 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has welcomed the statement of Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi wherein he forewarned the Modi-led fascist Indian regime to desist from taking any illegal steps to change the demography of the internationally recognised disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the Indian conspiracies to demolish the land laws and allow influx of non-local Hindus to purchase land and settle on the disputed territory as a sheer violation of the commitments made before the United Nations and the UN Security Council resolutions.

The APHC leader lauded the appropriate timing chosen by the Pakistani Foreign Minister to raise this legitimate demand before the United Nations Security Council to stop India from its nefarious designs to subdivide the disputed territory and change its Muslim majority character. He paid gratitude to the Pakistani people and its leadership for their sincere efforts to resolve Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir and providing unconditional support on moral, political and diplomatic fronts.

The APHC leader expressed his hope that keeping in view the exemplary sacrifices given by the people of Kashmir for their freedom from Indian subjugation, Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts not only to highlight the mass killings, arbitrary detentions and gross violation of fundamental rights, perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces in Kashmir at all International fora, but also deal with Indian imperialism and hegemony with strength as a sovereign nuclear power without compromising its legitimate stand on Kashmir.
