Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has raised alarm over rising human rights violations in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir, urging the international community to intervene in what it describes as a “Hindutva onslaught.”

In a recent statement, APHC Spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas implored nations committed to peace and freedom to actively engage in resolving the longstanding conflict in Kashmir. The spokesman emphasized the need for a resolution in accordance with United Nations Resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The APHC highlighted that enduring peace in the region is unattainable without addressing what it termed the “burning issue” of Kashmir.

The statement also paid homage to young individuals killed by Indian forces in the areas of Kulgam and Kishtwar, asserting that the efforts and sacrifices of those martyred would not be in vain.
