Another senior Indian journalist quits NDTV

New Delhi, January 28, 2023 (PPI-OT):Another senior Indian journalist and group editor, Srinivasan Jain, has announced to quit at NDTV channel on Saturday ending a three-decade career with the top Indian news network. The action was taken in response to Adani’s recent acquisition of the business in November 2022. In response to accusations of fraud against the Adani Group by US-based Hindenburg Research, Jain made his resignation known via his official Twitter account.

“Hi all. An amazing, nearly three-decade long run at NDTV comes to an end today. The decision to resign wasn’t easy, but, it is what it is. More later.” said Jain in a tweet. Jain’s resignation comes months after that of Ravish Kumar, a former senior journalist for NDTV India who left his position in November. The founders of NDTV, Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, also resigned from the board of directors in December.

In 1995, Jain started working for NDTV. He interviewed numerous eminent people, including politicians and prominent national and international news reporters, throughout the years.
