Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq has strongly criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), referring to him as the “assassin of innocent Kashmiris.”
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq expressed the Kashmiri people’s rejection of what he termed India’s “so-called development projects,” asserting that they are “stained with the blood of Kashmiris.” He emphasized that despite 78 years of oppression, India has not been able to suppress the Kashmiri people’s determination and their enduring spirit for freedom.
The AJK prime minister underscored the deep-rooted love and loyalty of Kashmiris towards Pakistan, which he described as integral to their identity and struggle. He urged the international community to take immediate measures to compel India to grant the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination, as outlined in United Nations resolutions.
Chaudhry Anwaar-ul-Haq also lamented the global community’s silence on the human rights abuses occurring in the occupied region. He urged world powers to overcome their inaction, pay attention to the ongoing violations, and ensure that the Kashmiri people’s fundamental right to freedom is upheld.
Concluding his remarks, PM Haq expressed optimism, stating, “The day is not far when Kashmiris will achieve their long-awaited freedom, and the dream of a complete Pakistan will be realized.”
