Islamabad: A high-level delegation led by Colonel General Aleksandr V. Fomin, the Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation, met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in Islamabad today. The discussions centered on strengthening military cooperation and industrial collaboration between Pakistan and Russia.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting aimed to explore new avenues for fortifying existing ties, focusing on joint military exercises and providing technical support for Pakistan Air Force equipment. The Air Chief emphasized the importance of enhancing military ties with Russia through collaborative training programs and joint military drills.

Colonel General Aleksandr V. Fomin praised the recent advancements in the Pakistan Air Force under its current leadership. He also expressed commitment to further solidify the defense partnership between Russia and Pakistan, highlighting the importance of military-to-military cooperation and technical support for PAF equipment.
