Lahore: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Sunday visited Punjab to meet with Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Minister of State Malik Rashid Ahmad Khan, offering condolences on recent family bereavements.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the acting president expressed his sympathies to Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan on the passing of his sister and to Malik Rashid Ahmad Khan on the death of his niece. The meeting, also attended by Chairman Public Accounts Committee-II Syed Ali Haider Gilani, Dr. Malik Amir Khan, and Malik Taimur Khan, included prayers for the deceased and support for the grieving families. Gilani assured the officials of his solidarity during this challenging time.
