Karachi: The Acting Chairman of the Senate, Syedal Khan, emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing Pakistan’s economic stability, national security, and democratic foundations in a recent meeting with Governor Sindh Nihal Hashmi. Highlighting the collaborative efforts of the government with coalition partners, Khan affirmed the focus on both internal order and international diplomacy to address global tensions and combat terrorism.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting at the Governor House Sindh involved discussions on various national concerns, including political stability, security measures, and developmental strategies. Khan praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Chief of Army Staff for their roles in fortifying Pakistan’s economic and defense stance, with particular attention to regional peace and international diplomatic efforts.

Khan also underlined the government’s strategy to develop underprivileged regions, particularly Balochistan, aligning them with national development goals through effective policymaking and practical initiatives. Governor Sindh Hashmi commended Khan’s contributions to promoting democracy and addressing public issues, acknowledging his leadership in the Upper House as instrumental in enhancing democratic traditions and public welfare.
