ISLAMABAD: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has emphasized the importance of sustained attention and coordinated efforts to address the ongoing challenges posed by flooding in Gilgit-Baltistan. In a meeting with Deputy Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, Malik Kifayatur Rehman, Gilani highlighted the need to provide maximum relief to those affected by the natural disaster.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between Gilani and Rehman also covered the broader political landscape in Gilgit-Baltistan. In separate meetings, Gilani engaged with representatives from the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers, led by Chairman Usman Aslam Malik, to discuss issues pertaining to the country’s automobile sector.
Additionally, the Acting President met with Syed Sajjad Bukhari, Resident Editor of Khabrain Multan, to discuss matters concerning Multan and South Punjab. During the meeting, it was noted that the residents of South Punjab expressed gratitude for Gilani’s personal involvement in the region’s development efforts.
