Lahore, November 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):Acting Inspector General of Police Punjab Kanwar Shahrukh, taking notice of the incident of death of a citizen due to metallic kite string in Nawan Kot area of Lahore, has sought incident report from CCPO Lahore. Acting IG Kanwar Shahrukh expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased citizen. He also ordered DIG Operations Lahore to conduct an inquiry into the incident.
Acting IG Punjab directed the RPOs, DPOs to ensure strict measures to prevent kite flying in all districts of the province including Lahore. He avowed rounding up such law deviants under zero tolerance and take strict punishments against them.
