Lahore: The disciplinary accountability process within Punjab Police is progressing with significant developments, as 20 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) have been penalized in various Orderly Rooms chaired by Inspector General Abdul Kareem. The actions signify a continued effort to uphold discipline and accountability within the force.
According to Punjab Police, during an Orderly Room on July 9, three DSPs faced major penalties, including the dismissal of one officer and the demotion of another to Senior Traffic Warden. A third officer received another major disciplinary measure. Additionally, in earlier Orderly Rooms, 17 other DSPs were disciplined, with penalties ranging from dismissals and rank reductions to pay cuts and other measures.
