Ziarat: In an effort to enhance the operational efficiency and address the grievances of the Levies Force, Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Liaqat Ali Kakar conducted a Levies Durbar at the District Hall. The session was aimed at meticulously reviewing the performance of the Levies Force and resolving issues faced by its officers and officials.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event saw the participation of key figures including Assistant Commissioner Ziarat Abdul Raziq Tareen, Levies Force officers, Rasal Daran, Deputy Rasal Daran, and officials stationed at various check posts and in charge of all police stations. The Durbar provided a platform for personnel to voice their concerns directly to the senior leadership.
During the session, Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized the importance of the Levies Force understanding their responsibilities and executing their duties with integrity and diligence. He highlighted the goal of the Durbar, which is to foster a deeper evaluation of the Levies Force’s performance and to directly address the challenges they face. Kakar articulated his vision for the Levies Force as a robust entity instrumental in maintaining peace and stability in Ziarat, noting that despite being a generally peaceful district, there is always room for improvement in terms of security and public order.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner announced plans to equip the Levies Force with modern weapons to better support officers who excel in their roles, thereby enhancing their capability to investigate crimes and prosecute offenders effectively.
The Levies Durbar represents a proactive step by the local government in Ziarat to ensure that the district remains a safe and harmonious place for its residents, through continuous support and strengthening of its security forces.
