Wreath Laying Ceremony Honors Chinese Victims of Terrorism at Nur Khan Airbase


Islamabad, A solemn wreath laying ceremony was conducted at Nur Khan Airbase to pay tribute to the five Chinese nationals who lost their lives in a recent terrorist incident. The ceremony saw the participation of high-ranking officials, representing the highest echelons of Pakistan’s leadership and military.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, floral wreaths were placed at the ceremony on behalf of the President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of Army Staff, and Chief of Air Staff. A moment of silence, lasting thirty seconds, was observed to honor the memory of the deceased, reflecting the gravity of the loss and the solidarity between Pakistan and China in the face of terrorism.



The government, in its statement, vehemently condemned the terrorist attack in Bisham, underscoring its commitment to combating terrorism. It expressed a firm resolve to bring the perpetrators, as well as their facilitators, to justice, signaling the seriousness with which it views the protection of foreign nationals within its borders and the strengthening of its counter-terrorism efforts.
