Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is present over upper and central parts of the country.

Friday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with light rain/snow is expected in Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.

Saturday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with light rain/snow is expected in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, rain occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Attock and Muzaffarabad.

Rainfall (mm): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar (AP 06, City 05), Cherat 06, Saidu sharif, Malamjabba, Parachinar 02, Chitral 01, Punjab: Attock 01 and Kashmir: Muzaffarabad 01. Snowfall (Inch): Malamjabba 01 inch.

Today’s Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -11, Ziarat -07, Gupis, Kalam, Quetta, Astore -05, Malamjabba, Pulwama, Baramulla -03, Hunza, Kalat -02, Bagrote, Shopian and Dir -01.
