Synoptic Situation

Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are penetrating in upper parts of the country and likely to strengthen during next 24 hours.

Saturday

Very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavy fall) is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, upper Punjab and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa.

Sunday

Partly cloudy weather is expected in upper and central parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavy fall) is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, upper and central Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Very hot and humid weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Rain-thundershower occurred in upper Punjab, central Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Hot and humid weather prevailed in other parts of the country. Rainfall (mm): Punjab: Hafizabad 63, Jhelum 42, M.B. Din 09, Murree 05, Balochistan: Lasbella 15, Panjgur 10, Kashmir: Rawalakot 09 and Muzaffarabad (City 06, A/P 04). Yesterday’s highest maximum Temperature’s (°C): Nokkundi, Dalbandin 48, Sibbi and D.I.Khan 45.
