Senate and National Assembly to Resume Crucial Budget Sessions


Islamabad: The National Assembly and the Senate are scheduled to reconvene in Islamabad today at 11 a.m., with both houses set to continue discussions on the budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.



The National Assembly will gather at the Parliament House to carry on the debate over the proposed financial plan. This session is critical as it provides a platform for lawmakers to scrutinize the budget proposals and discuss their potential impact on the country’s economy.



Simultaneously, the Senate will also resume its session at 11 a.m. The upper house is expected to engage in deliberations that will contribute to shaping the final budget document.
