Uzbek Foreign Minister Praises Pakistan’s Role in Regional Peace Efforts


Islamabad: In a recent diplomatic exchange, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, extended his congratulations to Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. According to Radio Pakistan, the conversation took place over a telephone call, wherein Saidov commended the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir for their roles in facilitating the agreement.



Saidov highlighted Pakistan’s efforts as a mediator and recognized its substantial contribution to promoting international peace and regional stability. Both leaders expressed optimism that the progress achieved through the memorandum would continue, fostering lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.



The conversation concluded with an agreement to maintain ongoing communication on issues of mutual interest, underscoring the commitment of both nations to continued collaboration.
