Washington: The United States has commended Pakistan for its efforts in achieving macroeconomic stability and implementing significant economic reforms, as expressed by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. This acknowledgment was made public through a social media post on X, following a meeting with Pakistan’s Minister for Finance, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between Secretary Bessent and Senator Aurangzeb highlighted the necessity of maintaining reform efforts to ensure sustainable economic growth. The meeting also emphasized the importance of supporting Pakistan’s successful re-entry into international capital markets.
