MANILA: Pakistan and Oman have announced plans to enhance their collaboration through high-level exchanges, increased trade and investment, and stronger business-to-business connections. The two countries also aim to maintain continued coordination at multilateral forums.

According to Radio Pakistan, this agreement was reached during a meeting in Manila between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum, where the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral cooperation.

In addition to discussing bilateral relations, the leaders exchanged views on recent regional and international developments. The Omani Foreign Minister acknowledged Pakistan’s role in promoting dialogue and regional peace. Both sides shared concerns about recent developments in the region and emphasized the importance of upholding the ceasefire, respecting international law, and pursuing lasting peace and stability.
