Karachi: The announcement of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran has been described as a proud moment for Pakistan and a significant development for the global economy, according to Pakistan’s Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb. Speaking virtually at the “Gong Ceremony” at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the minister emphasized the roles of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in mediating the agreement.
According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Aurangzeb highlighted Pakistan’s facilitative role in easing tensions and promoting dialogue, which has enhanced the country’s reputation as a constructive participant in regional peace efforts. The minister remarked that Pakistan’s commitment to diplomacy and peaceful dispute resolution is evidenced by this latest development.
