Islamabad: In a significant breakthrough for law enforcement, the Islamabad Police’s Shams Colony Police Station has apprehended two individuals allegedly associated with the “Sheru Gang,” known for its involvement in motorcycle theft. The suspects were found in possession of six stolen motorcycles, collectively valued at millions of rupees, prompting multiple legal cases against them.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrests are part of a broader initiative led by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza to combat theft, robbery, and street crime within the city. The operation aims to fortify public safety by dismantling criminal networks and safeguarding residents’ property. The apprehended suspects reportedly confessed to their participation in various motorcycle thefts during initial questioning.
