Islamabad: Turkiye’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has expressed unwavering support for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s initiatives to restore peace and stability in the region. The affirmation was made during a telephonic conversation between the two leaders.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Erdogan lauded Prime Minister Sharif’s leadership in addressing the prolonged conflict in the Gulf, which has led to significant human and infrastructural losses. The Turkish President extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Sharif on Pakistan’s recent peace efforts aimed at ending regional hostilities.

In response, Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude for President Erdogan’s support and reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to achieving peace both regionally and globally. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of collaboration with allies, including Turkiye, in the pursuit of enduring peace.

Following the call, Prime Minister Sharif shared on social media platform X that he had a sincere and supportive conversation with President Erdogan, emphasizing the continued partnership between Pakistan and Turkiye in peace efforts.
