Turbat: In a significant move to enhance educational standards, the Turbat district education group convened a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Kich Ismail Ibrahim, focusing on a strategic plan to improve educational outcomes and ensure teacher attendance. The meeting, which saw the participation of various education officials, laid out a series of measures aimed at activating dormant schools and addressing the issue of absentee teachers.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included key figures such as Zamard Wahid, ADC Catch Khalil Murad, Chief Officer Turbat Shoaib Nasir, and various district education officers. The assembly undertook a comprehensive review of the educational facilities in the district, identifying inactive schools and formulating strategies to revive them. A critical decision made during the session was the deduction of salaries for teachers who remain absent, underscoring the committee’s commitment to accountability and active teaching participation.
Deputy Commissioner Kich Ismail Ibrahim highlighted the necessity of an integrated approach to lifting educational standards, which includes not only the activation of schools but also enhancing teacher training and attendance. He assured that the district administration would persist in its efforts to advance educational quality, signaling ongoing support and oversight to achieve these objectives.
