Turbat: Government Boys Model High School hosted a grand ceremony in honor of Teachers’ Day, drawing significant participation from students, faculty, and notable guests including Director of Schools Makran Division Ghafoor Ahmad Dashti and Deputy DEO Akbar Ismail. The event featured a variety of performances and speeches that highlighted the value of educators and their pivotal role in shaping the future.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the celebration was divided into two parts: the first featured performances by students including Naat Rasool Maqbool, poetry recitals, tableaux, and speeches, all of which were warmly received by the audience. The second part of the ceremony included addresses by several dignitaries, including Engineer Shahnawaz, Abdul Hameed, and the school principal, Asghar Ali, who all spoke on the importance of teaching and motivating young minds.
The festivities concluded with the cutting of a cake prepared by Class VII students and the presentation of a commemorative shield to Director Dashti, symbolizing appreciation for his contributions to education in the region. The event not only celebrated the contributions of teachers but also reinforced the community’s respect and appreciation for their dedication to education.
