Tragic Wall Collapse in Buner Claims Life, Injures Two Children

Buner: A severe rainstorm on October 5 led to a devastating incident in Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where a wall collapse at the residence of Syed Akbar Khan resulted in the death of a child and injuries to two others.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the collapse caused by the heavy rain claimed the life of 12-year-old Muzamil, son of Syed Akbar Khan, and injured his seven-year-old brother Muswar, along with their eight-year-old cousin, Mudassar. The injured were promptly transported to the District Hospital in Daggar for treatment.

This incident underscores the dangers posed by severe weather conditions and highlights the need for adequate structural safety measures in residential areas, especially during extreme weather events. The local authorities are continuing to monitor the situation and assess the impact of the storm on the community.
