Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Security Forces in Pakistan have reported the elimination of thirteen militants associated with the group identified as Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij. The operations, described as part of an ongoing counter-terrorism campaign, were carried out in five separate engagements across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operations took place over the course of March 6 and 7. In Bajaur District, troops engaged the militants’ location, resulting in the deaths of five individuals following an intense exchange of gunfire. Similar encounters in the Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan Districts led to the neutralization of three additional militants. Concurrently, operations in the Khyber and South Waziristan Districts resulted in the deaths of five more individuals.

The operations also led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the militants, who have been linked to various terrorist activities in the region. The efforts are part of a broader strategy by Pakistan to address security challenges along its border with Afghanistan.

Security Forces have emphasized their commitment to the nation’s defense, with ongoing sanitization operations aimed at eradicating any remaining threats. These efforts are being conducted under the framework of “Azm e Istehkam,” a campaign supported by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, aimed at eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
