Textile Asia 2025 Exhibition Draws Thousands, Secures $550 Million in Deals

Karachi: Pakistan’s textile industry took a significant leap forward with the Textile Asia 2025 Exhibition, a landmark event held under the ‘E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan’ initiative. Supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, this three-day conference emerged as South Asia’s largest textile gathering, drawing over 67,000 trade visitors.

The exhibition featured more than 500 companies from over 20 countries, showcasing cutting-edge technologies. The event facilitated trade agreements worth $550 million and included numerous memorandums of understanding for investment. Key sessions centered on automation and sustainability, reflecting the industry’s evolving priorities.

International participation was robust, with countries such as Turkey, China, and Russia contributing to the event’s success. This widespread engagement reinforced Pakistan’s status as a global leader in the textile sector. Dr. Khurshid Nizam, President of ‘E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan,’ hailed the event as a realization of Pakistan’s vision for its textile industry.

Azir Nizam, Project Director, highlighted the exhibition’s success in exceeding expectations, driving exports, investment, and partnerships. The event represents a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s global textile industry ambitions.
