Islamabad: In a bid to address concerns over wheat availability and pricing, the Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has committed to taking decisive measures to prevent hoarding and ensure that wheat remains accessible at fair prices. This was discussed during the 9th Wheat Board meeting held in the capital, where the focus was on reviewing the nation’s wheat production, availability, procurement, and market pricing.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, provincial representatives assured that there are adequate wheat stocks across the country, with no shortages reported.
