Chennai, In a vehement critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister, MK Stalin, has labeled the party as an adversary to India and humanity.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Stalin, the leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), conveyed this strong message to his party members through a letter, casting the BJP not just as a political opponent but as a threat to the core values of the Indian Constitution, the nation’s diversity and secular fabric, and the principle of federalism. He went as far as to declare them “enemies of mankind.”
The Chief Minister’s denunciation comes in the context of the approaching parliamentary elections, where he perceives a stark contrast between the ideologies of his DMK-led alliance and that of the BJP. He accuses the BJP of maligning the Tamil populace by falsely labeling them as terrorists, with such narratives being propagated by figures ranging from the Prime Minister to union ministers and BJP leaders, as part of their electoral strategy.
