Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has entered into a Tripartite Agreement with the State Bank of Pakistan and 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited to integrate digital payment solutions into its judicial processes. This marks a significant step in the Court’s digitization and public facilitation efforts.

According to Press Information Department, the agreement was signed at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, witnessed by the Registrar, senior officers of the Supreme Court, and senior representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation and 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited. This initiative is part of the Supreme Court’s reform agenda aimed at promoting citizen-centric service delivery through technology.

The digital payment solutions will allow litigants and legal practitioners to pay court fees electronically via approved digital channels, replacing the manual legal fee stamp system. This is expected to streamline financial transactions related to judicial services, reduce processing time, and minimize administrative burdens, while enhancing transparency and accountability.
