State Bank of Pakistan Maintains Policy Rate at 11.5 Percent

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan announced that it will maintain the policy rate at 11.5 percent. This decision comes as the Monetary Policy Committee noted a decrease in inflation rates, providing a stable economic outlook for the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmad addressed a news conference in Karachi, where he detailed the committee’s observations. He reported a reduction in inflation from 11.7 percent to 11.1 percent over the last month, highlighting this as a factor in the decision to keep the policy rate unchanged.
