Lahore: In a significant announcement, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed an impressive lineup of commentators for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. Among the notable figures making their debut is former England Test Captain Sir Alastair Cook, who will bring his experience to the commentary box for the first time in the PSL.
The tournament is set to kick off on April 11 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and will culminate in a final match on May 18 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The event will feature a total of 34 matches held across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
Joining Cook in the commentary team is Mark Nicholas, a well-known figure in cricket commentary since his retirement from competitive cricket in 1995. Nicholas, who also served as the president of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), adds significant expertise and a familiar voice to the panel.
The commentary team will also include Dominic Cork and Mark Butcher from England, enhancing the panel with their extensive cricketing knowledge. Additionally, South Africa’s Jean-Paul Duminy and Mike Haysman will contribute their insights, completing the diverse lineup.
