Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened a meeting to evaluate crime control measures and operational strategies within the Industrial Area Zone. The meeting focused on intensifying efforts to combat criminal activities, specifically targeting gang operations and property-related crimes.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by SP Industrial Area Zone Hasnain Waris, along with Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) from the zone. SSP Raza directed officers to enhance efforts to apprehend criminal gang members, particularly those who are absconding. The compilation of data on individuals involved in property crimes and their prompt arrest was stressed as a priority.
SSP Raza also instructed that investigations be concluded based on merit, with swift submission of challans to the relevant courts. Officers were tasked with maintaining vigilance over previously released individuals with a history of property crimes, with immediate re-arrest mandated upon any new offenses. The meeting underscored the necessity of addressing vehicle and motorcycle thefts and maximizing the arrest of proclaimed offenders, with a clear message that protecting citizens’ lives and property is paramount.
