ISLAMABAD: Following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, a significant meeting was chaired by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza to strategize security measures for Muharram-ul-Haram.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included key officials such as ADCG Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf, SSP Security Operations Suleman Zafar, SP Headquarters, zonal SPs, senior officers, procession organizers, and members of the peace committee. The discussions focused on comprehensive plans for safeguarding Muharram processions and gatherings, with emphasis on route monitoring, traffic management, and inter-agency coordination.

SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza highlighted that all resources are being deployed to protect citizens and ensure a peaceful atmosphere. He urged organizers and peace committee members to collaborate fully with security agencies to uphold effective security measures during the events.

Participants expressed their commitment to maintaining law and order and fostering cooperation and harmony during the religious observance. The Islamabad Police is implementing all necessary actions to ensure the safety of citizens and the orderly conduct of events during Muharram-ul-Haram.
