ISLAMABAD: In a bid to address public grievances efficiently, the SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, organized an open court session at his office as part of an open door policy initiative. This move follows special directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aimed at ensuring the swift resolution of citizens’ concerns.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court enabled citizens to voice complaints primarily concerning land encroachments among other issues. SSP Operations Raza engaged with the participants, listening to their grievances and instructing relevant officers to undertake necessary legal actions on the reported cases within a specified timeframe.
During the session, SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized the police’s zero-tolerance stance on violence against women and children, underscoring the importance of providing relief to the public and upholding the law. He reiterated the police’s commitment to ensuring every citizen’s rights are respected and that all complaints are handled with fairness. The protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity remains a primary focus, he stated.
