ISLAMABAD: In an initiative aimed at addressing public grievances, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened an open court session at his office. This event, part of the open door policy, was organized following directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to ensure citizens’ issues are resolved promptly.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court provided a platform for citizens to present their complaints, which included issues such as land encroachments. SSP Operations Raza listened to the concerns and instructed relevant officers to take legal action on the submitted applications within a specified time frame, while also requiring them to submit detailed reports on the actions taken.
During the session, SSP Raza reiterated the Islamabad Police’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on violence against women and children, stressing the priority of providing relief to the public. He assured the supremacy of the law and emphasized that all citizens have equal rights, with all applications being evaluated on their merit. The SSP further stated that protecting the lives, property, and dignity of citizens remains a key focus for the police force.
