ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, convened a meeting with officers from the Saddar Zone to assess the current crime situation and discuss operational strategies. The meeting, attended by SP Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi and the Station House Officers (SHOs) of the Saddar Zone, focused on enhancing efforts to curb criminal activities.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the importance of targeting criminal gangs and ensuring the swift arrest of their absconding members. Officers were instructed to compile data on individuals involved in property-related crimes and expedite their arrests. The SSP also highlighted the need for concluding ongoing investigations on merit and submitting challans to the courts promptly.
The SSP further instructed officers to maintain strict surveillance on individuals previously released for property crimes, with orders to re-arrest them if they commit new offenses. Special attention was given to apprehending suspects involved in vehicle and motorcycle theft, with a directive for maximum arrests of proclaimed offenders. Raza reiterated the police force’s priority of safeguarding citizens’ lives and properties, cautioning against any negligence in these efforts.
