SSP Operations Holds Open Court in Islamabad to Address Public Grievances

Islamabad: In a bid to address public grievances promptly, SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, conducted an open court at his office, acting on the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The initiative, which aligns with an open-door policy, aims to ensure the swift redressal of citizens’ issues.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, citizens brought forward complaints pertaining to land encroachments, among other concerns. The SSP Operations listened to these issues and directed relevant officers to take legal action on the marked applications within a specified time frame and to provide a report on the actions taken.

During the open court, SSP Operations emphasized the Islamabad Police’s zero-tolerance stance on violence against women and children, reiterating that providing maximum relief to the public remains a primary objective. He assured that the law’s supremacy will be upheld and stressed the importance of deciding all applications on their merits, ensuring equal rights for every citizen. The protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity was highlighted as a paramount concern.
