ISLAMABAD: Senior police officials in Islamabad have initiated open courts to facilitate the swift resolution of public grievances and ensure timely justice for citizens. The initiative, part of a directive from the Federal Interior Minister and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, aims to enhance transparency and accountability within the police force.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and SSP Investigation Salman Zafar presided over open courts at their respective offices, engaging directly with a substantial number of citizens who came forward with various concerns and complaints. The officers listened attentively to the issues raised and provided immediate instructions to relevant officers for quick resolution, urging that all public complaints be addressed promptly and in accordance with legal standards.

These open courts are designed to foster direct communication between police officers and the public, thereby strengthening public trust and ensuring grievances are resolved effectively.
