SSP Islamabad Orders Crackdown on Criminal Gangs and Absconders

ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza has directed a comprehensive crackdown on criminal gangs and absconders as part of an intensified effort to ensure public safety. During a meeting with Soan zone officers, Raza emphasized the importance of concluding investigations on merit and submitting challans to the relevant courts.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting, which included SP Soan Zone Khurram Ashraf, SDPOs, and SHOs, resulted in several directives aimed at bolstering law enforcement efforts. Officers were instructed to arrest absconding members of criminal gangs and compile data on individuals released in property-related cases, with a focus on strict monitoring of these individuals.

Raza highlighted the need for immediate action if any released individuals are found engaging in further criminal activities. He also stressed the importance of apprehending wanted individuals involved in car and motorcycle thefts and increasing arrests of proclaimed offenders. Emphasizing the priority of protecting citizens’ lives and property, Raza warned that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
